Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Communication

The Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Communication supported small and medium-sized enterprises on their way to digitalization by focusing on the topics of management, culture, communication, learning and value creation.

The Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre was located in Potsdam, Dortmund, and Dieburg/South Hesse but was active throughout whole Germany. Successful models are collected, trained, and recommended for broad application in sample regions and for sample industries. The project was carried out by the BSP Business & Law School - Hochschule für Management und Recht, the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and the FTK - Reseach Institute for Telecommunications and Co-operation.

The FTK - Reseach Institute for Telecommunications and Cooperation offers orientation and support for the integration of processes, secure data exchange and trustworthy cooperation in value creation networks as well as for digital business models. The transfer laboratory was set up in Dortmund to illustrate such integrations along the value chain of a manufacturing company.
