The eBusiness-Lotse Ruhr (“eBusiness Pilot Ruhr”) is a regional node within the funding initiative “eKompetenz-Netzwerk für Unternehmen” (“eCompetence Network for Enterprises”) which is part of funding priority “Mittelstand Digital – IKT-Anwendungen in der Wirtschaft” (“Mittelstand Digital – ICT Applications in business”) and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

The nation-wide initiative offers support in terms of implementing modern information and communication technologies. The eBusiness-Lotse Ruhr especially addresses enterprises in the Ruhr area.

The eBusiness-Lotse Ruhr offers a thematically broad, independent and vendor-neutral information service: public information events, individual support, trade fair presentations, and publications.
